CLEVELAND (WJW) -- In partnership with the Cleveland Guardians, the City of Cleveland honored the one and only Jose Ramirez by naming a street after him.
A ceremony was held Saturday morning to officially present Ramirez with new street signs around Clark Field.
The street has been named Jose Ramirex Way in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood.
After the ceremony, the Guardians also hosted a free, one-day baseball clinic for Greater Cleveland youth.
Jose is now the first active athlete to have a street named after him in Cleveland.
