MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, have been charged after an illegal gun sale led to a shooting, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
Just after 6:00 Sunday evening, the sheriff's office said, deputies were sent to Hunter's Glen E., just north of Raleigh, for a shooting call. SCSO said they spoke to someone who said he'd been the target of an attempted robbery.
Deputies said the victim had originally told them he'd arranged to meet some people he knew to buy some clothes, but once he'd gotten to the meeting point, several people pulled out guns and tried to rob him.
