MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Friday marked the fourth day of trial for Brandon Isabelle, a Memphis man accused of murdering his child's mother and then throwing their two-day-old daughter in the Mississippi River.

Prosecutors played more video from Isabelle's February 2022 interrogation. In the video, Isabelle confessed to killing Danielle Hoyle, the mother of his child. Prosecutors asked one of the detectives who handled that interrogation to clarify why Isabelle said he committed the crimes. That detective testified that Isabelle blamed a woman he had recently started dating.
