Saturday was a celebration at the Camp Edwards Complex.
The MELANnaire Achievement Center, the nonprofit arm of the MELANnaire marketplace, hosted an Evening of MPACT.
It served to honor the 15 inaugural graduates of the MAC retail academy, which focuses on empowering black entrepreneurs with knowledge, mentorship, community, and connections.
The celebration also marked the five-year anniversary of the MELANnaire marketplace, a cornerstone for black-owned businesses in Louisville.
