Scottish Labour are on course to come third behind Reform in the Holyrood election, according to a poll published as the party’s UK conference begins .
The snapshot also sees Anas Sarwar’s party seventeen points behind the SNP for May’s poll .
Sarwar has endured a nightmare year which has seen Scottish Labour’s poll rating sink in the wake of Keir Starmer’s difficult first year as prime minister .
Recent polls show the SNP on course for a record fifth term and the latest - by Norstat for The Sunday Times - makes for more grim reading for Sarwar.
In the crucial constituency vote, the SNP polled 34%, with Reform on 20% and Labour languishing on 17%
On the regional list, 29% of voters are planning to vote SNP, with Reform and Labour tied on 18%.
