Gang war kingpin Ross McGill has been released from jail in Dubai - alongside a crew of feared Scots mobsters .

The Record has been told that McGill, 31, Lyons family boss Steven Lyons, 44, drugs hood Stephen 'Jimmy' Jamieson, 42, and Lyons clan associate Steven Larwood were freed at the weekend after they were banged up in the desert state twelve days ago.

It is not known if another man arrested, thought to be a Rangers Ultra pal of McGill's, has also been let out. Underworld sources told the Record all four crime lords have been ordered to leave the country.

One said: "McGill was let out on Saturday morning and told never to return to Dubai again. He was turfed out onto the streets of Abu Dhabi so nobody knows where he will go next.
