PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A 16-year-old girl who was reported missing early Sunday morning in Portsmouth has been found safe, according to Virginia State Police.

Authorities issued a CODI Alert on behalf of the Portsmouth Police Department for Eve Marie Tucker. She was last seen Saturday evening in the 5000 block of Vick Street.

Police said Tucker’s disappearance initially posed a credible threat to her health and safety.
