Freedom Traditional group is recognized for excellence

The Parent Teacher Association at Freedom Traditional Academy has been recognized with a national award for helping promote student success.

Freedom’s PTA was recognized as a 2024-2026 National PTA School of Excellence last week after the PTA and administration team made a year-long commitment to implement an action plan for school improvement based on one of the National PTA Standards.

The school’s PTA enrolled in the program in June 2024, choosing to focus on communication. According to the PTA Standards, that focus challenged the school to “engage in proactive, timely and two-way communication so that all families can easily understand and contribute to their child’s educational experience.”
