After years of surveying workers, the experts have learned that there are astonishing variety of reasons that employers stand out. In Oregon and Southwest Washington, that vast array revealed itself again this year. On Top Workplace surveys, workers praised great benefits, great work-life balance, the chance to follow an inspirational leader, or the chance to be part of great team.

All these qualities contributed to top marks for 115 employers in the 2025 Top Workplaces competition. This is the 14th year The Oregonian/OregonLive has partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage to determine the area’s top workplaces. Energage administered the surveys, using the results to rank employers.
