Parliamentary staff have allegedly been told MSP Colin Smyth is 'still their boss' after toilet spy cam claims.

The 52-year-old was charged in connection with alleged possession of indecent images of children , as well as in relation to allegation surrounding a hidden camera which was placed inside a cubicle inside the Scottish Parliament. His Holyrood pass was deactivated on August 28, reports the Daily Record .

He is understood not to be contributing to parliamentary proceedings after being signed off work on medical grounds.

But the MSP's staff of about five researchers and office workers - paid with public funds via the parliament - have been told they are employed directly by Smyth, and should he decide to return they would need to continue working for him. The only alternativ
