UTICA, Ohio (WCMH) -- An apple orchard and farm market near Utica announced it will be closed for the rest of the fall season after a fire destroyed much of its infrastructure.
Legend Hills Orchard and Farm Market near Utica, a village in Knox and Licking counties, said Sunday morning a fire destroyed the market, storage, cider press, and grading area. The farm market and "pick your own" seasons have both ended due to the damage.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson for the orchard said everyone is safe.
"We deeply appreciate the quick response and hard work of the first responders who came to our aid," the statement said. "While this is not how we hoped to finish our season, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future." • NBC4 Photo / Gracie Collins • NBC4 Photo /
