A 33-year-old man has died after he was shot multiple times in Chicago’s Douglass Park neighborhood Sunday morning.
According to police, the man was standing next to a vehicle in the 1200 block of South Farrar Drive at approximately 12:33 a.m. when an unknown assailant opened fire.
The victim was struck at least five times by gunfire, and was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
There is no suspect in custody at this time, and Area Four detectives are investigating the shooting.
