A man has been rushed to hospital after being seriously assaulted by an attacker wearing a black balaclava. ‌

Emergency crews raced to Bonhill Main Street in Alexandria on Thursday September 25 at around 9.15pm after receiving reports of an assault . ‌

Upon arriving to a block of flats, an injured 41-year-old man was discovered. He was then raced to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, where he was treated for lacerations . ‌

The suspected attacker has been described of slim build and wearing black clothing with a black balaclava.

Police Scotland have made a public appeal as they continue their investigation.
