HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Government agencies along the Grand Strand are returning to normal operations as the threat of dangerous weather from tropical storm systems has lessened.
The National Hurricane Center said Tropical Depression Nine will continue out to sea before turning toward the coast at a distance far enough for the area to avoid any major impacts.
Officials said dangerous surf and marine conditions will linger for much of the week, with the threat of heavy rainfall.
Horry County and Myrtle Beach officials said Sunday they're resuming normal operations.
