DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Dorchester County Sheriff’s office says they have arrested a woman after she reportedly brought a gun onto a school property.

Tammie Moody Carter, 41, is charged with Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime and Possession of a Weapon on School Property.

Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Steven Wright says deputies were called to Fort Dorchester High School on Thursday because of a reported domestic disturbance. Students had already left the campus for the day at the time of the incident.
