MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is on the lookout for three women who reportedly abandoned their car and left the scene of a crash on Union Avenue early Sunday morning.

MPD says that officers and EMTs responded to the two-vehicle collision around 3 a.m. at the intersection with South Pauline Street, located in the Medical District.

At the scene were two damaged vehicles, a Hyundai Elantra and a Honda CR-V, but only one driver.

Police spoke with a woman who told officers that she was driving her Honda east on Union when the Hyundai traveling north on Pauline ran through the red light and T-boned her on the passenger side.

EMTs examined her for injuries after she reported soreness but did not need to be taken to the hospital, per MPD.
