James Gunn Says A Lot Of 'Big Actors' Want To Portray Batman In DCU

With the completion of The Batman II script , James Gunn is providing updates on a separate DCU project about the Caped Crusader.

Speaking to IGN in a recent interview , the co-chief of the Warner Bros. superhero subsidiary said he is pleased with how The Brave and the Bold is shaping up.

“ The Brave and the Bold script, I like where we are,” the Superman helmer said, noting, however, that the movie is still subject to change amid development.

As previously reported , the standalone project — based on comic book writer Grant Morrison’s take on the Gotham City protector — will follow the Dark Knight and his son, Damien Wayne (of whose existence he’s unaware), as Robin. Andy Muschietti is set to direct the pic from a script by an undisclosed writer.
