CENTERTON, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Centerton Planning Commission gave the green light for a new Walmart Supercenter, with a 4-1 vote.

The 33-acre site south of McDonald’s at East Centerton Blvd. and South Main Street will feature a 179,000-square-foot Supercenter, a small gas station and nearly 800 parking spaces. Walmart will also add landscaping islands, fence detention pond and improve nearby streets.
