A man on a scooter collided with a car in Trenton on Sunday morning, causing him to be dragged under the moving vehicle for a short distance before the car drove away, police said.

The crash occurred at around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday as the 32-year-old man rode his scooter on Oakland Street from Prospect Street toward Mellon Street, police said.

The car involved was traveling in the opposite direction, with the two on a path for a head-on collision, police said.

The man on the scooter tried to avoid the crash, but fell under the car, causing him to be dragged under the car for a short distance before being left on the road, police said.
