BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- At least one person is dead and four others are hurt after a violent crash in Boyle Heights.

The crash happened on North Chicago Street near First Street, east of the 10 Freeway.

AIR7 video from above the scene shows one vehicle on its side and a pickup truck with its truck bed detached.

Three adult women-- one in critical condition and two in serious condition -- were transported to the hospital. The fourth victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, police are looking for a fifth person who reportedly fled the scene.
