MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A 73-year-old Reedsburg man is alive thanks to the quick actions of employees at Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Baraboo.

In April, Jim Krueger was helping his sister pick up some mulch from the store when he suffered a heart attack so severe, it is often called a “widow maker.”

“It’s kind of scary going back in the place you died,” Krueger reflected.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is more than a store to Krueger; it is a place that could have held his last moments in life.

The last thing he remembers before his heart attack is getting out of his truck to open the tailgate. Luckily, he was not alone.

Store Manager Jack Adams says it was a typical Friday when he heard the news.

“We heard a call over our walkie-talkie communicators that a customer had collapsed out in our backyard
