To make travel smooth and convenient during the festive season, the Central Railway (CR) zone is running 60 extra special trains this year. Ticket bookings for these festival trains have already started, and passengers can plan their trips in advance.

Meanwhile, Indian Railways is also expanding its Amrit Bharat Express network planned across the country. These trains will offer safe, comfortable, and affordable travel, especially for passengers from lower- and middle-income groups. New features include the Kavach anti-collision system, EP-assisted braking, and fully sealed coaches.
