Rob Edwards admits the ‘buzz’ of being a football manager is back again, as he enjoys an excellent start to life as Middlesbrough head coach.
Edwards enjoyed a fairytale journey at Luton Town, taking the Hatters to the Premier League , where they then put up a valiant effort to avoid relegation despite their relative resources. But unable to avoid the drop, his time at Luton ended in January and they would go on to suffer relegation to League One.
Edwards returned this summer to take over at Boro , replacing Michael Carrick in the Riverside hotseat. He’s since guided the club to their best league start, as they sit top of the Championship - going unbeaten in seven so far.
