A hidden gem of a period drama TV series is now available for streaming, and it's garnering high praise after viewers have previously enjoyed a "haunting" film and another historical movie , reports the Mirror .

The ITV production, drawn from a cherished classic novel, has been lauded by many as the definitive adaptation.
