ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The suspect in a deadly stabbing on Fair Place has been identified and was arrested Sunday afternoon.
On September 26, around 10:50 p.m., 41-year-old Antonio DeJesus Rodriguez-Cervantes was found with a stab wound on Fair Place. He was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead after arrival.
Officers identified 34-year-old Oscar Loyola-Ledesma as the suspect. It was alleged that he got into an argument with Rodriguez-Cervantes, which resulted in the stabbing. Investigators confirmed the two knew each other, and it is believed they both live in Rochester.
On Sunday afternoon, RPD said a SWAT team executed a search on Child Street and found Loyola-Ledesma hiding in a bathroom. He was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The Department of Homeland
