BENGALURU: A three-story building in Madavara village in Nelamangala tilted after a crack was found on one of the walls. The building, constructed just two years ago, had six houses rented out to tenants.

Fortunately, the tenants quickly evacuated the premises, bringing their belongings to the roadside. The building leaned due to soil sinking beneath the foundation.

The building tilted within two years of its construction and has caused concern among the locals. The Madanayakanahalli municipal and police officials visited and inspected the site.

Anjanamurthy Ganesh, a neigbhour said, “I was at building yesterday as it was Sunday. Srinivasraju contacted me and told me to evacuate the tenants immediately after the building tilted. All are safe. The crack was found at around 8 am. The exac
