Midland car giant Jaguar Land Rover is to restart some of its manufacturing operations after it was crippled by a multi-billion pound hack attack.
The firm, which has plants in Castle Bromwich, Solihull and an engine facility in Wolverhampton, was forced to shut down factory lines when it became the latest big name targeted by cyber criminals.
The shutdown left smaller firms in its supply chain, as well as shops and cafes who relied on workers for much of their income, on the brink of going bust.

But today, Monday, September 29, JLR said it had told workers that elements of production would resume in the next few days. It was not clear when a full resumption would begin, though.
