BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - The Bradenton Police Department is currently investigating an overnight homicide at the 2100 block of 8th Avenue East in Bradenton.

Officers responding to the crash on September 28th, around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a middle-aged Hispanic woman suffering from extensive injuries; she died at the scene.

BPD detectives and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit responded to take over the investigation.

At this time, the homicide appears to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Bradenton Police Department or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
