INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police are investigating after a man was found shot along Interstate 465 on Indianapolis' south side Monday morning.

The incident was reported along westbound I-465 near East Street shortly before 8 a.m. Sept. 29.

Responding troopers located a man with a gunshot wound who was taken to a local hospital, an ISP spokesperson confirmed to 13News.

No information on the man's condition, or additional circumstances of the shooting, was immediately available.
