INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was found shot on I-465 on the south side of Indianapolis on Monday morning, according to officials from the Indiana State Police.

According to officials, the man was found shot near the 2.5-mile marker on I-465 westbound, just west of the East Street exit, just before 8 a.m.

Officials with ISP said that they believe the shooting was not self-inflicted. ISP officials did not provide the condition of the man who was shot.
