Roy Mcintosh was found injured in High Street in Cowley near Uxbridge at 12.30pm on September 28

He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

A man was arrested soon afterwards on suspicion of murder.

Igor Polikarski, 33, of High Street, Cowley, was charged with murder yesterday (September 28).

He remains in custody and will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court this afternoon (September 29).

Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, who is leading the investigation, said: “I would like to thank the public and local community for their assistance and we are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation.

“The victim’s family continue to receive support and updates from specialist officers.”

Officers continue to appeal for information about the incident.
