James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur and author Kwame Onwuachi has signed with Hollywood agency WME for representation in all areas.

Under their new partnership, WME will be working with Kwame on adapting his memoir, “Notes From A Young Black Chef,” into a previously announced feature starring Lakeith Stanfield and produced by A24 , and to in his continued expansion of his work in film and television across both scripted and non-scripted.

A “Top Chef” Season 13 alum, Onwuachi is best known for his acclaimed restaurants Tatiana at Lincoln Center, which was named the top restaurant in New York by The New York Times two years in a row, and Dōgon in D.C., which ranks #2 on Washingtonian’s Best Restaurants list, and was featured on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Hot List and The New Y
