ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man has been indicted by a Kanawha County Grand Jury in connection with a shooting in St. Albans.
Deputies say this happened July 6 at a home on Jesse Fork Road.
Detectives say the victim had gone to Christopher Foxx’s home to see his ex-girlfriend.
A fight broke out, which escalated and resulted in Foxx firing a shotgun.
The victim was hit twice and was seriously hurt.
Detectives say because of conflicting statements and physical evidence collected at the scene, detectives arrested and charged Foxx with two counts of malicious wounding.
Foxx’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 3 at 9 a.m.
