KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A teenager accused of killing a woman in a gas station parking lot was indicted today by a Kanawha County Grand Jury.
Jacob Fields, 18, is charged with first degree murder, use or presentment of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and wanton endangerment.
Fields is charged with the murder of Tiffany Adkins.
The shooting happened at a gas station along MacCorkle Avenue in the Kanawha City area of Charleston back in May.
Detectives say Fields waited for Adkins to enter his line of fire before firing a shot through his front windshield, hitting Adkins in the back of the head.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 3 at 9 a.m.
