HOUSTON (CW39)- The latest spaghetti models for Tropical Storm Imelda show the storm is likely to move north and curve east back into the Atlantic.
What are spaghetti models?
Spaghetti models are plotted on a map to show the potential paths of a tropical storm or hurricane. The map will show multiple colored lines which represent computer models- and it all looks like a plate of spaghetti.
Each line will represent the different model's prediction on where the storm will track. The closer together the lines are to each other, the higher the confidence in the storm track. Lines that are spread apart suggest more uncertainty on where the storm will head.
