GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI – One day after a gunman allegedly drove his vehicle through a Grand Blanc Township church, opened fire, and set the building ablaze, the community begins a difficult process of recovery.

The first 911 call came in at 10:25 a.m. A Grand Blanc Township police officer and Department of Natural Resources conservation officer responded within 30 seconds of the call, Grand Blanc Township Chief William Renye said.
The call came 32 seconds after 10:25 a.m. and officers arrived at the scene 57 seconds after 10:25 a.m., Renye said.
