An 18-year-old male remains in hospital today (September 29) after having his hand 'cut clean off' at a house party in Liverpool, the Liverpool Echo reports.

It is understood the assault took place during a house party, according to neighbours, on Colin Close in Huyton. The victim is understood to then have ran to a nearby pub.

One witness said the victim's hand was "clean off" when he entered the pub, which was moments from closing.
