Michigan’s 2025 high school football season closed its fifth chapter over the weekend, giving teams just four more weeks to earn a playoff berth.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association is in its fifth year of using playoff point averages to determine the tournament field, with the top 32 teams earning postseason berths in Divisions 1-8, and the top 16 qualifying in 8-player Division 1 and Division 2.
