ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's event took place at PNG field over the weekend, raising over $21,9000 to date.
Around 250 people gathered at the Altoona Curve field Saturday, Sept. 27. While raising nearly $22,000 to date, Homewood at Martinsburg was the top fundraising team this year, raising more than $7,800.
“The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter sincerely thanks the many dedicated Walk participants, volunteers and sponsors who made the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s a tremendous success,” Gabby Rosendale, Development Manager, said. “The funds raised will help fuel disease research while also providing critical care and support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementia.”
