KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - A Kinston man is now sentenced after police say he made death threats to an officer online over the summer.

Frank Taylor pleaded guilty to one count of communicating threats this morning and was sentenced to 45 days. Initially, he was charged with three counts.

Police say on July 3rd , Taylor went on a social media post that was praising a Kinston police officer and wrote threatening comments.
