BATH, N.Y. (WETM) — A Bath man was arrested on Thursday after police said he was found with a felony amount of meth while on parole.
Shaun M. Haynes, 26, of Bath, was arrested on Thursday Sept. 25, on the charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony, as stated in a release from the Village of Bath Police Department.
Haynes' charge comes after officers from Bath Police were called to help out NYS parole officers with a parolee, later identified as Haynes, who was found with meth at the Budget Inn around 10:37 a.m., police said. Upon arrival on the scene police learned that Haynes had a felony amount of meth.
As a result, Haynes was arrested, charged with the above-listed crime, processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignmen
