One area of Scotland is expected to see some welcome sunny spells tomorrow before heavy downpours pummel much of the country for three days this week. The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning of up to 10 inches of rain for widespread western areas starting on Wednesday. ‌

The 'danger to life' rain warning covers eight Scottish areas , stretching from Argyll and Bute all the way up to the Highlands, from 5pm on October 1 to 6am on October 3. But before the downpours descend on the country, one lucky stretch of land- the north-east- is to see some sunnier conditions tomorrow, September 30. ‌
