FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Honduran man who was in the country illegally after previously being removed has been sentenced to prison time, according to the Department of Justice.
The DOJ news release said 60-year-old Oscar Guillen Orellana has been sentenced to eight months in prison after being found in the country by the Foley Police Department in March.
Foley police arrested Orellana in March on a domestic violence charge, which is when Homeland Security identified him from previous convictions, according to the release.
Court records showed that Orellana was previously convicted of illegal reentry in the northern and southern districts of Alabama, as well as armed robbery in Georgia.
