BELMONT COUNTY, OH (WTRF) - Belmont County Hoof and Paw is taking a pause. For two weeks, from October 1st through the 15th, they will not be going out on investigative calls except for emergencies.
During that time, they're going to focus on getting homes for the dogs already in their care, because at this point, there's no more room at the inn.
The calls can still come in but they're going to go to the Sheriff's Department and 9-1-1. Sheriff's Department will determine emergency vs non-emergency. Our focus for these next few weeks is to get as many dogs out as we can. Right now we are over full meaning we do not have enough kennels for the number of dogs we have. I have dogs in my home, I have 'em in my hallway, I have 'em in various locations."
They will continue to receive livestock
