Michael Hawkins Jr is back under center for Oklahoma, starting in place of John Mateer, who is recovering from hand surgery. Hawkins met with the media Monday evening, and I asked him what Brent Venables and the coaching staff have told Hawkins his mindset should be as he becomes the starter.

Hawkins answered: "Just going 1-0 every week. I'm looking forward to the game and they are too. So, just the confidence in our guys as a whole, and just going 1-0."
