Good news to start the day - Hurricane Imelda has now started to take that significant impact saving east turn. It is tracking to the northeast with max sustained winds of 75 mph. It will maintain hurricane strength as it tracks towards Bermuda over the next 24 hours. This will create swells for our coast so while our overall weather will improve, coastal issues will remain through the weekend. • A high risk of rip currents continues through the end of the week. • A high surf advisory continues through Saturday with 5-7' waves.
