The well-known father-and-son duo of George and Lee Mandeville, of Yellowknife, have released three CDs of traditional Metis fiddle music during their musical career together.

The duo have performed on national and international stages, sharing and celebrating their Metis traditions.

They have performed twice in the Kivalliq region, including their most recent performance at Baker Lake's Festival by the Lake last year.

Baker Lake wellness co-ordinator Karen Yip said the father-and-son-duo were a real treat.

During their most recent time in Baker Lake, George and Lee also conducted musical workshops with local youth.
