Legendary rock band The Cure will be performing at Wythenshawe Park next summer - ten years on from their last Manchester gig.

The Cure, made up of current bandmates Robert Smith on vocals, Simon Gallup on bass, Roger O'Donnell on keyboards, Jason Cooper on drums, Perry Bamonte on guitar and keyboards, and Reeves Gabrels on guitar, are set to perform in Manchester next summer for the first time since 2016.

Formed in Sussex in the late 70s, The Cure performed their first show in 1978, followed by nearly 1,800 concerts worldwide in the years since, as well as 14 studio albums, more than 40 singles and a collection of concert films. View 3 Images

The Cure will headline Live From Wythenshawe Park on Friday 21 August 2026.
