The Cure have dropped a massive announcement that they will be performing four major summer shows next year - which includes one night at Wythenshawe Park .
The iconic rock band are set to perform at Wythenshawe Park on August 21, 2026, which will mark their first Manchester gig in ten years since their last performance in 2016.
Formed in Sussex in the late 70s, The Cure is made up of current bandmates Robert Smith on vocals, Simon Gallup on bass, Roger O'Donnell on keyboards, Jason Cooper on drums, Perry Bamonte on guitar and keyboards, and Reeves Gabrels on guitar.
The Cure performed their first show in 1978, followed by nearly 1,800 concerts worldwide in the years since, as well as 14 studio albums, more than 40 singles and a collection of concert films. Content c
