The Cure have dropped a massive announcement that they will be performing four major summer shows next year - which includes one night at Edinburgh Summer Sessions.
The iconic rock band are set to take to the stage at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on Sunday, August 23 2026, which will mark their first Edinburgh gig since they played the Playhouse in 1992.
Formed in Sussex in the late 70s, The Cure is made up of current bandmates Robert Smith on vocals, Simon Gallup on bass, Roger O'Donnell on keyboards, Jason Cooper on drums, Perry Bamonte on guitar and keyboards, and Reeves Gabrels on guitar.
